イスラエルから来られた物理の先生、タル・ピアーさんにご講演いただきます。タルさんは自作の手動発電機を使ったワークショップを実践されています。イスラエルの物理教育の新しい挑戦について、科学、教育、コミュニティの観点からお話いただき、さらにMTRL KYOTOのようなメイカースペースで物理に関する活動をされている経験にもとづく興味やお考えを伺います。日本とイスラエルの物理って違うの？と思われる方や、実践的な教育にご興味のある方のご参加をお待ちしております！
A unique program has been started in Israel in the past 10 years. It involves conducting a 1-2 years long research project as part of the annual curriculum in Physics studies at high school. This is an interesting story and a great challenge as it was led by one motivated teacher that brought a big change to the way Physics is taught in Israel. It is also interesting because it involves science, education and the community. In the talk I will touch the main features of this program and speak of its main challenges and promise.
Later I will move on to my own personal interest in this program and present a different way of doing research projects in Physics by introducing a Makerspace environment to the projects. The main theme of these projects is Renewable energies.
